"Quickbooks File Doctor Error: Namelist-Rebuild"
Quickbooks displays the following error message:
"Quickbooks File Doctor Error: Namelist-Rebuild".
The error occurs in Quickbooks when: opening or restoring a company file, restoring a portable company. Other symptoms are missing customers, vendors or contacts.
Other Error Codes
"Rebuild has been done on the company file, after duplicate IDs were found in the name list(s). This tool cannot fix this problem. Please contact Intuit Tech Support and Provide this error code 'Namelist-Rebuild' or 'Missing Name List Problem'."

Error Description
The error indicates that Quickbooks has found corruption in one of the list items: Customers, Vendors, Employees, Items, Other Names, or Contacts. Do not rebuild your data file to fix the issue -- it will make the issue worse by renaming some list items to 'Rebuilt'.
